We met on Tinder while attending Northern Arizona University. If you know us, it’s shocking that either of us were on a dating app.

Our first date was at Firecreek, a cozy coffee shop in Flagstaff, Arizona. Naturally, we both ordered hot chocolates—a small but telling moment that highlighted just how similar we are. That was the first of many, and the rest, as they say, is history.

We both graduated during the pandemic, though neither of us had a traditional graduation ceremony—Megan in 2020 and Corey in 2021. When Corey was offered a job at Micron and Megan had the flexibility to work remotely, we made a bold decision: we picked an apartment online and moved to Boise without ever visiting the city.
